We always come here for the $23 Torched combo that comes with torched nigiri, torched roll, and miso soup. Sooo yummy. (If you don't like the mustard sauce, you can ask to swap it too!) Very reasonably priced local sushi restaurant and the quality of the food is consistently decent.
As a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed in the experience with Project Sushi. Two items on my Skip order from Project Sushi were missing. Not a big deal unless the restaurant refused to rectify it. Project Sushi admitted it was their error and the restaurant offered only solutions that involved me fixing the problem (i.e. my coming to retrieve the items from the restaurant, my asking for a refund from Skip, or my placing another order, paying for it and then chasing a refund from Skip). Unacceptable. It is an ongoing lack of accountability across businesses, to make a mistake and never take responsibility, because you can get away with not being accountable these days. What happened to valuing your patrons and making things right when you made the mistake? It is because you never have to look the customer in the eye and be accountable for your business practices. We will never order from Project Sushi again after the way we were treated and recommend that others show this restaurant that they need to treat their customers better. I never post reviews but this needed saying. Sad that it is the only way to hold businesses accountable.
Project sushi has so much potential. I was taken back as to how unwelcome we felt, from entering and not being greeted to serving others that came in after us and the length of time to receive our food. We loved the look of the restaurant, the food was decent for the price point. We ordered from the lunch specials. Loved the sashimi and rolls. Tempura shrimp was light and flavorful. I would have rated higher if the service was better. We will be back and I hope that the service will be better.
Grocery store quality sushi. Terrible salad. Projects Sushi used to be great, but the food quality has gone way down hill. My Salmon was grayish, and the rice was gummy and loosely packed.
Been getting takeout here since Covid. I much prefer them over other sushi spots in the area. They actually put care into how the food is prepared and presented.
We were greeted from the moment we walked in, and there was a peaceful atmosphere. We ordered the 50 piece sashimi and another box of sushi sashimi roll mix. The prices here are cheaper compared to many other sushi places and it is very worth. The sashimi is fresh and the rolls don’t have too much rice in them. The presentation is pretty, and they pack the takeout with enough soy sauce, wasabi and ginger. Whenever we need sushi for a big group, we love coming here.
If you hate yourself and have absolutely no respect for food, come on in and make yourself comfortable with quite possibly the worst sushi in existence.
