In all honesty, I was hoping to get coffee from a popular place nearby that had lines out the door. I popped into Bun appetit as I was in too much of a rush to wait for the original place I had in mind and I'm so so so so so glad I did. The coffee is pretty good, the coffee beans used are great quality and have a very pleasant aroma. I got myself a tuna sandwich and a chocolate bagel. Both were outstanding. Who ever is making this bread is a genius. The flavour profiles are so well balanced, and the texture of the bread makes for a very very enjoyable dining experience. The chocolate bagel, has a chocolate cream cheese filling. I'm not sure if it has any added sugar in it at all, but it has that beautiful 'not too sweet' quality. I will 1000000000% be back.
They have very unique tasting bread! We especially love the Chocolate Delight bun as its screams chocolate! Unfortunately our earl grey bun was a little dry today but most times the bread were consistent.
Ordered a sesame pretzel and mini baguette, taste like 2 days old bread dough or just came out from the freezer or its still raw dough, soggy texture. Quality like that is way over priced
I had such a great experience at Bun Appétit on Highway 7! The lady working there was so sweet, she even gave us free samples, and honestly they were all so good. But the BEST one for me was the fluffy French toast. Omg, it was soft, airy, and perfectly sweet. Everything tasted fresh, and the service was amazing. Definitely a new favorite spot! Will be coming back for more.
This bakery store, to be honest, doesn't have the smell of freshly baked cakes when you walk in. I later found out that all their products are delivered from a central kitchen. The service is good—they offer complimentary samples and provide detailed introductions to their items. The prices are a bit on the higher side. After purchasing, I quickly went back to my car to try it. The taste was acceptable, but the toast completely lacked the aroma of milk, which wasn’t quite what I had imagined.
Fantastic little bun shop! The buns are soft, fresh, and perfectly filled, not too sweet, just right. Staff are super friendly and the place smells amazing. Highly recommend the strawberry bagels. A hidden gem worth visiting!
This is my second time visiting the bakery. Miss 27 is very friendly and let us try a few different breads which were all really good. I recommend the brown sugar mochi bun and chocolate French toast. The breads are very fresh, soft and not too sweet. Perfect treat
