I ordered a mango cake from Oh Cake for my daughter’s birthday a few days ago. The cake looked fine on the outside, but after we ate it, I started having stomach issues. When I checked the inside, I found that the mango pieces were black and seemed to be spoiled. It was really disappointing and concerning, especially for a special occasion. I hope the store can pay more attention to the freshness and quality of their ingredients.
The fruit cake was light and fluffy, but the fruits weren’t in season so not sweet enough. Overall still enjoyed the cake and would try a non-fruit cake next time!
Ordered a 8 inch Mango Pandan Taro Mochi cake here for a birthday which came to $83.00. The presentation of the cake looked fantastic but unfortunately what followed was disappointment. The chiffon was too salty and the overall flavour of the cake was extremely bland. We usually prefer cakes that are not too sweet, but this cake barely had any and was extremely dry. Overall no one at the birthday enjoyed the cake at all and for such a high price, we expected way more.
Oh Cake did a great job in listening to our needs regarding a cake for our baby shower for my wife and I, they followed the butterfly theme and did very well in presentation. The cake was made exactly how we envisioned it and everyone at the babyshower complimented it. What I was very pleased by was how patient and detailed they were in receiving our order, and the options they have available to customize your cake. I highly recommend their services for whatever occasion you need! The cake has a very light flavour, we ordered the mango and it was very pleasing. The location however is difficult to find and I had to ask around where I could find the store.
Picked up a cake for a 100 days celebration today, and had to write a review! The location of the store is on the second floor of the building, when you exit the elevator turn right. There are signs just above the elevator and entering the Game Club side that clearly indicate the unit numbers you can follow. I ordered online for store pick up, and the staff called me beforehand to confirm details of the colours I wanted (as I forgot to mention on my online order which dragon colour I wanted). Pick up was smooth and staff wrapped the cake carefully, instructing me to place the cake on the floor of the car rather than the seat and also to refrigerate the cake until it was ready to be served. The fresh mango filling I got was done well and not too sweet. The design impressed me a lot with how professional and cute it looked! I will definitely be ordering from them again for my upcoming birthday as I’m interested to try their other flavours and have fallen in love with their designs. 10/10 would recommend!
It is a “won't go wrong” store. The only thing I have to say is the purple rice&pork floss bun becomes a small portion, which makes me disappointed a bit.
Brought the cake here for my friend’s birthday party and the staffs here are so nice, asking every details on how we want the cake to be presented. We got the mango flavour and there are a lot of mango inside. We all love about the cake and definitely will come again for any event. Price are reasonable compared to other bakeries.
