I was here because I saw an instagram influencer saying it’s the best gelato in Toronto but I tried the Mochi pistachios gelato and the taste is so artificial.
Love the mochi at this bakery! Got the mango grapefruit and matcha jasmine flavors this time and both were great but my favorite has to be the strawberry cheesecake mochi. Delicious and not too sweet
At Savorology Artisan Bakery, the mochi bubbles are excellent. I tried two flavors — Milk Tea and Mango grapefruit. The mochi skin is wonderfully chewy with a nice stretch, though the bottom layer is slightly on the thicker side. The flavors are fantastic and truly live up to their names. Each one looks adorably plump, and the layers are well executed. If you love mochi, this is a must-try.
I ordered a Strawberry Mochi Cake and a heart-shaped candle for my friend’s birthday for pick-up. The cake was good, but I never got the candle. When I picked up my order, the parking lot was packed, so I had to leave my car on blinkers while I quickly ran in. In the rush, I completely forgot to grab the candle. The next day, I tried calling the bakery multiple times during their opening hours to explain and hopefully resolve it, but no one ever picked up. After a few tries, it even went straight to voicemail. I understand it was my mistake forgetting the candle, but I did pay for it — and I wish I could have reached someone by phone. That’s what the phone is for, after all. It’s frustrating not to have any way to contact the store about something so simple.
Finally trying the VIRAL Jellycat Mochi Cake!! The Cake itself was very well made, moist Chiffon Cake layered with Strawberry Cream wrapped inside chewy Mochi skin! Can’t wait to try their other flavours!
I ordered 4 mochi bubbles with the flavors Hong Kong milk tea, matcha jasmine tea, strawberry cheesecake, and mango grapefruit. I also got the mont-blanc tiramisu. It all came out to be $40. The mochi is super soft. It basically melts in your mouth with minimal chew. All thr flavors also tasted really good. The mont-blanc tiramisu was okay. There was chestnut flavor but it wasnt strong enough.
No idea what is the ingredients and website shows “mochi”, “cheesecake” as their descriptions. For a CA$14.89/2mochi, I think you would want to provide more information?
