Went by their bakery and grabbed a box of different savoury breads, family was delighted.Taste was great and we thought everything was perfect until one of my family members spat out a piece and we pulled a piece of plastic wrapping out of the cheese (it was the ham and cheese bread) I suspect some of the wrapping wasn’t properly removed when making it, should be more careful next time since it can be dangerous to swallow,
I had the pleasure of being helped by Mandy today. She was absolutely wonderful and very informative with the menu items. This was my second time here but thanks to her and the knowledge she give me about the items, specially the pastries, I will definitely visit them more often from now on. Thank you Mandy.
Really amazing Eurasian bakery with a variety of Croissants with amazing different flavours, at a reasonable price. Everything was about $3.99? The milky bun (I think it was called) was amazing and super big portions.
Place has gone downhill…used to specialize in croissants but went there 2 weeks in a a row and all they had was one batch of stale almond croissants and rest was tons of unappealing bread. Seemed like they had like 4-5 people working and most looked busy but what happened to all the different croissant flavours? The almond croissants tasted old and the salted egg bread was bland. Sad because their croissants were so good when they first opened. Update 10/26/2025 middle of afternoon, walked by and literally don’t have any croissants… just bread. Why not just change the name?
Didn't even get the chance to order because of the unprofessional behaviours of the 2 female staff. There were 3 customers, including myself, and we were all treated rudely. The place was not busy at all. Staff were rolling their eyes, cutting people off mid-sentence, blatantly impatient and were scoffing when asked to clarify menus items or to add items to an order. I figured maybe they were tired or having a bad day. When it was my turn, I attempted to order a drink 3 times; each time they stated they were sold out despite it not being crossed out on their menu. I even pointed to the item I was trying to order on the menu. When I asked which WERE available (because at this point, I was getting confused as to why the cashier was so upset) she pointed to the 3 items I DID, in fact, attempted to order. After trying to clarify myself multiple times, I grew tired and offended by their abrasiveness and walked away and went to another store. No longer curious about their baked goods. Would not recommend based on my experience here.
Friendly staff, delicious and creative croissants. Today we tried the almond custard, and chocolate dark forest one. Both delicious. Best enjoyed fresh.
(Birthday Month) It was nice to receive a birthday coupon via SMS to enjoy a buy 1 get 1 free croissant. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot of variety when I got there at 3:00pm on a weekday. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcomed. However, the croissant size was a lot smaller compared to when this store first opened. Because I have a coupon, that’s why I can buy a Truffle Crab Croissant for $5.70 + tax and get another free one. If I was to pay full price for the two croissants with the shrinking in size and only ok quality, honestly, I may consider buying from elsewhere. I hope they can keep up with their previous size and quality. (Recent Visit) I went to Hazukido at Markville Mall location again. I got a few early bird combos and a single croissant to go. I bought a total of 2 combos at $7 each + Hst and a single strawberry croissant at $5.20 + HST (price increased from $4.95). The croissant was getting more expensive but no problem at all if everything was good. The croissants was still high quality and tasty, but there was one thing that really disappointed to me. After I paid for my order, the staff did not give me any bag for my take away. I asked for one and he said if I need one, they will charge me an extra $0.75 for one. I found this very inconvenient and inconsiderate for their customers. How can they expect a customer to carry 3 boxes of croissants and 2 cups of coffee to go without a bag. The single box for each croissant was very slippery and difficult to carry by hand. The staff told me that it was because the early bird combo was on special for $7 + Hst so the company will not give out any bag. It was also because their shop only have fancy large size paper bags and no small bags. Another lady behind me also bought a few croissants to go without a bag and she also found this ridiculous and unbelievable for such a luxury brand. I hope they will take this seriously and consider giving out a small paper bag for those customers who need them to carry the food. I think even a plain paper bag (with handles) without any fancy printing will do the job. Otherwise, customers will not return due to the inconvenience. (1st Visit) Finally get the chance to try their croissants. I got some strawberry croissants because I was craving for something sweet. This was a good choice for afternoon tea. It was perfect to go with a cup of coffee. Their croissants tasted very fresh and crispy. Although it was quite pricey, but I will definitely visit again when I need a treat. It was great to start the day with their early bird combo (pick 1 croissant & a drink) for $7 per set. Their croissant and cappuccino were both very high quality. We enjoyed it so much. Must visit more frequent!
