This was my first time and will be my last time I will be back. Take this as a warning for the ones considering to try this. With so many bakeries, please find another one. I had ordered a cake online for pick up (given 4 days notice), I even called the day after I ordered to confirm that I will be coming. Upon entering, they told me they do not have my cake and that they missed the order. They gave me three options: - come back in an hour (which was not doable as we do not live in the area and I had my two young children with me) - they will deliver it to me from 6-10pm. I am not risking this as I needed a cake for tonight dinner. If they showed up at 10pm, that defeats the purpose and the guests would've already left. - give them 10 minutes to create a simpler cake that is not originally what I wanted. I chose option 3 but with that the woman in the store was not going to offer me a refund on a portion of the cake even though I picked the more expensive cake. After back and forth argument, she agreed to refund the difference. I gave them 15 minutes to complete the cake just as they asked. The cake itself was just cream on the inside with no mango even though she said it's a mango chiffon cake. If you are going to rectify your mistake, do not give me this garbage. Needless to say, I have never had such a disappointing experience with a bakery before. As I mentioned, this will indeed be my last time and I hope this review will save other people from ordering from this place.
I ordered a strawberry chiffon birthday cake yesterday and picked it up today. The overall presentation was okay, but we were quite surprised to find cornflakes used as part of the top decoration, along with only a few strawberries. Unfortunately, the cornflakes had gone soft and weren’t crispy, which affected the texture and experience. The cake itself was very mildly flavored—so much so that it tasted almost bland. It wasn’t sweet, and while some may prefer that, it didn’t quite meet our expectations for a birthday cake. And the creme part was way too thick… even thicker than the cake itself! I appreciate the effort, but I don't think I would return for another order.
I was in a rush to get a gift for a party and so saw a good review of Honey Honey. I called them to see if there was anything good for my occasion. The owner answered the phone and she offered to make one for me in a hour-ish. I ordered the light blue one sea salt cheese flavor. And it was so beautiful and also delicious All my friends also liked it.
I had high expectations for this cake shop based on the photos and marketing, but unfortunately, the actual product was extremely disappointing. I ordered their so-called “red velvet” cake, and it turned out to be one of the worst cakes I’ve ever had. First of all, the cream was definitely not real dairy cream as advertised. It was thick, greasy, and hard — nothing like the light, smooth texture of genuine animal-based whipped cream. It tasted artificial and left an unpleasant coating in the mouth, which ruined the entire experience from the very first bite. The cake base itself was equally bad. It didn’t taste like red velvet at all — there was no hint of cocoa flavor, no moistness, no softness. Instead, it was dry, dense, and bland. To make things worse, the salt in the batter wasn’t mixed in properly, so one bite would be overly salty, and the next one was cloyingly sweet. It was honestly shocking how poorly the batter was made — something you wouldn’t even expect from a beginner home baker, let alone a professional bakery. On top of all that, the price was ridiculously high for such low quality. I wouldn’t mind paying more for a truly good cake, but this one felt like a complete rip-off. And despite charging so much, they didn’t even bother to include basic utensils like forks or knives. How are customers supposed to eat the cake without any tools, especially if they’re picking it up for a party or event? Overall, this was a complete waste of money. Poor ingredients, terrible texture, no attention to detail, and overpriced for what you get. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone. They seriously need to improve their recipe, quality control, and customer service. Right now, this cake shop is all style and no substance
I ordered a birthday cake from this shop, and it was overpriced for what I got. The cake had a very thin layer of cream, making it dry and underwhelming. Honestly, even a cake from T&T at half the price tastes much better. Definitely not worth the money. Definitely Won't be ordering again.
It was my first time and won't be last, one of the best shop for cake Very great.the taste just perfect, sweetness just on right amount and looks great.
There is a sign up for Bento cake + Americano for $9.99. Went inside and man was on his phone. Didn't look at me until prompted and didn't put his phone down either. Was told they don't make Bento cakes? Zero suggestions or enthusiasm. I really don't have expectations for service but it was an off-putting first impression.
