I bought a pair of Dakota safety shoes from Mark’s on a Sunday afternoon. At first, they seemed fine, but after wearing them for just a couple of hours inside my office the next day (as required for safety reasons), I realized they were incredibly heavy and uncomfortable. Since I commute by GO Bus, I only wore them inside the office, not outdoors — just for a short time. As soon as I got home, I picked up my car and went straight back to the store to exchange them — not even return, just exchange. I explained everything to the staff at the counter, and initially one of them said I could go pick another pair. But after 30 minutes of searching (with barely any size options available in the lighter ones), she suddenly changed her stance and said they can’t be exchanged because they were worn. I completely understand policy restrictions, but how is anyone supposed to judge comfort without wearing them properly? Her response? “You need to try them at home.” Who walks around their house in steel-toed safety shoes to “test comfort”? That made no sense at all. To make things worse, as we were leaving — disappointed and frustrated — two girls at the counter sarcastically said “Have a good day” and started laughing as we walked out. Completely unprofessional and rude. The shoes themselves? Gave me blisters in less than 2 hours of wear. Super uncomfortable, and the outer layer scratched and scuffed way too easily — and I was just inside an office! All in all, a terrible $146.66 spent. Bad quality product and even worse customer service. I expected way better from Mark’s. Not shopping here again.

Really bad experience as I bought Timberland safety shoes worth $310 ,sole started coming off the guy at front say it only comes with 100 days return but shoes has one year warranty.
