We have recently moved into a smaller house which needed some updating. We visited Acadian Flooring and met Hamid (John). After explaining our flooring plans, and using his expertise of wood, vinyl and carpet materials, John helped us choose Canadian Red Oak for the main floor and Luxury Vinyl for the basement. The removal of the old flooring was completed on-time and the new flooring installed by Saeed, ahead of schedule. As a bonus, we also had Saeed replace the old stair handrails and balusters. The installers were very professional, punctual and tidy - excellent craftsmen! We would recommend Acadian Flooring for completing a 10/10 job!! Regards Phil and Jean Port
I recently purchased vinyl flooring from John. He was professional and enjoyableto work with. John is patient and provided the most competitive pricing in town! I did not have Acadian install my floor, but I wish I did. I will work with John again because he made it affordable for me.
Disastrous Hardwood Installation Experience done by SAEED/HAMID. I am writing this review to warn others about the dreadful experience I had with SAEED. His other name is HAMID. During my recent hardwood floor installation, from start to finish, the process was a complete nightmare. Do not trust him whatsoever. I recommend this flooring company to fire him right away so that he wouldn’t make a mess at other people’s houses. He is also rude and completely disrespectful. Terrible experience I’ve had. Absolutely terrible.
I would like to rate negative if possible. Firstly this store gave different quotations to my contractor and myself. I would understand if there is a discount applied to contractor but this time it is actually the other way round. They quoted me a price and 2 days later quoted to my contractor an even higher price. The mid-transparency of pricing makes me concerned about their credibility on doing business. Secondly, this store denied my return request as I had two boxes leftover. It appears that they only acted a salesperson rather than taking care of their clients. As long as cash is paid they would be hands off. They kept saying they did their best by asking the supplier as opposed to try a little bit to negotiate with them. The rule is the rule, which are their words after all. This is really a bad experience for my contractor and myself. We will never recommend anyone going to this store. Good luck!
