Very professional. Contractors and materials delivery was well organized. Had timely communication throughout the entire process and all work was completed on time.
The quality of the laminate was so poor. There was bubbling and cracking within a week of having it installed. I showed them the pictures and they told me someone will come for inspection and that was 3 weeks ago and no one has even contacted me yet
Great service and low price! They have more than 60 different colors of hard wood for selection, so I spent nearly an hour to make decision. But the saleslady never loses her patient and keeps giving me advices. When installation, those contractors are also very professional and experienced! Because I’m rushing to move in, they even work over time to finish the project early! Really appreciate their brilliant work! Recommend to everyone!
This store may offer lower price but the quality matches the price. We hired Molson to install the floor and after couple months there were many cracks on the floor surface and it starts to make noises when stepping on some pieces. We called the store, but they insisted it was not their faults, even though we told them it was installed by their team and we additionally paid $3000 on top of regular installation charges to add plywood which they told us was needed to prevent any sounds from the floor. We were overcharged and misled on the labor costs for sure. Won't recommend to anyone.
website says 10,000 sqft showroom, I thought this was some huge operation. End up their showroom is about 1000 - 1500 sqft... Very underwhelming. Most floors other than made in China stuff they do not keep in stock and have to order from a wholesaler, which takes up to 2 weeks. Basically they are a middle man...
Bought the hardwood planks (4.5"w hardwood maple made by Hardwood Planet) from Molson and installed by the their in-store installers back in April 2014. Had various issues ever since including whole floor cupping, a dozen places with hairline cracks, wide area crackling noises. While cupping seems to have lessened quite a bit after a whole 4 seasons the rest of the problems have not. Molson did come onsite once to replace 5 cracked planks plus fixing one uneven spot, but they refused to fix the rest of the cracks yet promised to reach out to the hardwood manufacturer. I hired a certified hardwood inspector, which was difficult to find due to their usual busy schedules (another red flag here for common flooring problems), on the same day when Molson came to fix the cracks. When the inspector asked Molson installer, what was the house humidity when the floor was first installed, the answer was "why do I need to measure the humidity" which shocked the inspector. Still, I as the owner was blamed by Molson for not maintaining the proper humidity thus caused cupping. I am no expert but I did have 4 humidity sensors throughout the house and humidity was carefully maintained as I had heard of stories of failed hardwood floors due to improper humidity. I guess I can go to court as per suggested by the inspector, however I guess life is too short for such hassles that might take years. I also gave up after contacting Molson & waiting for the promised manufacturer inspection. We all have busy schedules in personal life but I have decided to spend a few minutes with this review to remind others to think twice before choosing such *NATURAL PRODUCTs*. Update on Sept 01, 2015 Now the wide-spread cupping is back. I guess it comes and goes throughout the year probably because of humidity level changes despite my best effort keeping it at around 40-55%. I am sure Molson and HP will blame me for not maintaining constant indoor humidity but how can we keep it at 50% exact when many times you need to open the windows for some fresh air? A lesson well learned and I would suggest everyone to really think about it when considering hardwood floors over engineered products or maybe even laminates. Don't get trapped by the idea laminates are cheap... thinner profit margin for sure is a good thing for consumers.
