DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! This contractor was working on our townhouses, I was in my toddler sons room when I notice one of the crew members step down onto the roof just below my child’s window. He then exposes himself and urinates on my sons window, the exterior wall and all down the brand new roof. I attempted to speak with the owner on-site and was ignored and laughed at by the crew until I called the police - the company owner finally came down and made nothing but excuses, took zero accountability. DISGUSTING behaviour.
This company is a Scam! They installed a new roof in July 2021 and I noticed a leak in one of my rooms in January 2022. I was promised 15 years Roof and Labour warranty with free repairs. They don’t pick calls nor respond to emails. Their Agent Kelly is the one you should avoid dealing with. I am looking to take legal action against them for the damages and expenses I have to incur.
Job: - I used EVO roofing to replace my single car garage house in Pickering for complete shingles, soffits, fascia, Eva through, gutter and downpipes. I connected with them through Albert (647-679-8337). I discussed my expectation with him and texted the full list of verbal agreement. Product: - I been presented GAF Timberline Charcoal black HD shingles during initial project discussion. No deposit payment was made and the change one day due to actual rain. Workday: - Sawn (E) came to my house at 8:30 pm on Tuesday (scheduled time) and brought the same shingles as Albert presented to me before. Work: - 5 personals were presented, and they started working right away. Yes, house surrounding become little messy, but Shawn affirmed me that it will be cleaned. Remove shingles and soffits, fascia, Eva through, gutter, pipes at same time around 10:30 am they removed shingles from main roof and soffits, fascia, Eva through, gutter, pipes from full house. around 1:30 pm they completely installed the full house shingles. I found one dip in shingles, I thought is a Plywood issue, but Shawn opened the shingles and showed me the plywood which was in good condition. but he levelled the shingles on my request. around 2:00 pm took the lunch but otherwise they were working. 6:45 pm Soffits, fascia, Eva through, gutter and pipes was completely installed. While other guys picked the garbage, metal through magnetic cart and broom cleaned the whole area. Almost no debris left as they promised. 7:00 pm they gave me workmanship warranty and shingles registered warranty from Timberline. Took the money cash. I didn’t have full money, so they picked the remaining cash next day. Yes, Except Shawn no worker speaks English (Doesn’t matter to me). Yes, when they throw shingles, they don’t say anything, but they look for it (Which is good). Favour: - They put new shingles to my 8x8 shed for free (Installed on existing ones on my request.) I’m happy with there work, (apparently) quality and completion time. I highly recommend this company as they did all those things which they were agreed with me on the begging of project.
Those guys are scammers! I will suggest to stay away! They provided me a good quote $3,190. We scheduled the installation for Thursday. After that they rescheduled for Saturday, then for Monday! On Monday they told me, they will do it but for $5,000! Come on! They came to see the house. Nothing was changed from the original deal. They are just crooks!
This company is so cheap they took the deposit and they didn’t show up on that day was supposed to install the roof. Zero customer satisfaction. The sales representative Kelly is one of a wretched person seeking for $100 and they don’t want to return your deposit. Don’t use this company at all. I haven’t never seen such bad service in Canada from any company like this. They are thief taking your money for roof installation.
this company did a roofing and gutter replacement on my neighbors house. When I came home I found a bunch of old gutters in my backyard. I made numerous calls to this company. Phone goes unanswered most of time. I left several msgs. Got hold of someone eventually and they promised to come pick up their stuff. But they never showed. All further calls not answered.
Excellent service in a timely manner. Evolution Roofing professional roofers, they repaired my leaky roof and replaced the shingles in one day and at a very reasonable cost and with 10 years warranty. Worker are very respectful and cautious. I would recommend them to everybody.
