I have to say as an avid Apple product owner, I am appalled with the level of service at this location. Staff at this location should re-visit customer service training. I recently went in for a Genius appointment to fix my iPhone and waited over 30 minutes to be seen - which I accepted given much longer waits in the past. I was seen by the Genius 'Arthur' who was rather rude and seemed uninterested to help. He took my phone, and told me he saw no issues within an instant. Mind you, the reason I was in was because I had already been seen by a genius at a different visit who confirmed the issue but unfortunately I did not have time to get the phone fixed at that time. Thus this visit, I just wanted to carry out the proper fix. Without reviewing the previous genius' notes, he then blatantly asked me multiple times "What I want them to do? What do you want to get out of this?". How about take a look at the phone and fix it if needed, I wouldn't be in the Apple store if knew what was wrong or how to fix it myself. This visit has definitely hindered my perception of the level of customer service at not only this location, but the brand itself. While I appreciate there are many hard working genius' at other locations, I definitely will not be returning to this location going forward and will definitely be contacting the head office in relation to this visit.
I had a very good experience at this Apple store. I went to buy a new iPhone and the process was very smooth. Chris was very helpful in answering my questions and he helped me to find a special discount due to an Apple partnership with my internship company. Honestly this Apple store deserves a much higher rating than what's shown on Google. If you go to the store, especially during non-peak hours, you will have a good experience.
Bad, Bad, Bad... All they are interested is in selling a product and directing you to their website for support. If that's the case, why not just operate online. So much respect for Walmart now. They are cheap but they have a good heart to help. Honesty stay away from Apple Markville. Perhaps go to their Fairview or Eaton Centre locations
I dont know how the staff puts up with all these people. Half don't even remotely know what they are doing and the other half are loitering. Full props for their positive energy and patience. Dave was very friendly and helpful when I was purchasing another phone...even when rude customers interrupted my purchase to ask questions.
Im not sure if this is the same at every Apple store, but at this location, if you need something repaired, you better make sure youve got ample time 1. To spare and 2. To pick up the item being fixed. Firstly, we brought in my daughters computer to be fixed. Instead of finding someone who could look at it right away, at least to check it, we had to wait 3 hours. We couldnt even leave it there but had to carry it around throughout the mall. Guy looked at the cracked screen, confirmed that it was not user-caused, and that it would be replaced. That was 10 minutes...why couldnt they have done that in the beginning. Im all for waiting your turn, but for something like this that would need to be replaced, it could have been checked sooner than 3 hours. Second, they gave us an expected date that the repair would be completed by, and that I would have to come get it as my daughter isnt an adult. I told them that I would be working. I work full time, 12 hour shifts...I had to call in sick and get a doctors note, in order to pick up this computer! How ludicrous to expect someone to do that because its finally repaired but they dont want to store it for a few extra days! Instead of having so many walking around pretending to look busy, they need more people to actually help customers. The day we dropped off the computer there were 3 sales staff at the door. 3! Instead of greeters, there should be more helpers!
