Went in there this evening. I stood around tools&hardware. I asked very staff member who walked by if they could help me look for something and the response i got was "i'm not from hardware." Finally, i found someone who was from hardware and i was extremely disappointed in that he did not know where any of the products were in his own department. He looked of Somalian descent but would not give me his name. He looked intoxicated and carried his demeanor as if he was not all there. His eyes were blood shot and had very poor hygiene (very foul body odour). I ended up leaving with nothing but my wallet and phone and bought all my necessities at home depot instead. Very poor customer service! If i could give 0 stars, i wouldn't hesitate.
The store is a mess and it is hard to find what you are looking for. It is also extremely hard to find staff to assist. The location being convenient was the best thing about the trip.
Came here a few days ago to purchase a new fishing rod and tackle for my vacation to British Columbia. I have received very good service from Mihrza who has been very helpful during my visit. Gave me also good accessories to compliment my new fishing gear. Fishing rod works alright, but the rod should have slightly more resilience. One piece of advice I have for the management is to have more people on floor however as it is very busy during day times.
Had been here couple times. Staffs are always friendly at this location. They are willing to help you even though they are busy on something. Don't hesitate to ask them for help even though you think they are into something...
I came in because I put 2 chairs on hold. I was informed to go to the service desk to pick them up. Upon arrival, the chairs were not there and nobody helped me find the appropriate aisle to get them. The customer service representative simply pointed her finger in one direction and told me to get it myself. After searching through the aisles, I couldn't find the chairs and went to go back to customer service to get somebody to help locate the appropriate aisle. When I was trying to get help, one sales associate would not transfer my requests to the customer serve rep and had me repeat myself numerous times to different people, although a competent staff member would quickly follow up with a customer service rep for more efficient service. After I went on my own to grab the two chairs, I needed somebody to help put them into my small car. I was told that somebody would be waiting outside to help load them into my trunk. When I drove out front, nobody was there and it appeared as though the staff I had spoken with forgot all about my request. The staff here are completely useless and I did all of the work myself, from calling to place the chairs on hold, finding them in the appropriate aisle, to loading them into my car. Seriously may as well just make this a self-serve Canadian Tire at this point.
