I had a great experience with this mechanic. they were professional, transparent about the costs and explained everything clearly before doing the work. My car runs perfectly now, and they even finished the job earlier than expected. It's easy to see why they're rated that good. they truly deserve it! I never thought I’d be writing a review about a dealership, but here I am. Pfaff Autoworks (and the Pfaff dealership I now go to (and I will write a separate review for) are not the closest BMW dealerships to my house. There is even one within a 10-minute drive of my house. But I will spend the extra time to travel to Pfaff because of the impression they made on me with warrantied bodywork. BMW gave Pfaff a very limited amount of time to complete the bodywork. So limited that they weren’t even booking until a few weeks after the deadline when I first called them. On that call Mindy Crystal put my mind at ease by assuring me they would fit the car into their schedule even though they would need it for 5-10 days. She was able to seamlessly arrange the rental and offered to allow me to drop my car off and pick up the rental at a Pfaff location closer to me. She explained in detail what needed to be done and without needing to ask she kept me in the loop on the status of the work. If her status report raised questions for me, and rarely did because the was so thorough, she would respond in a very timely manner. I had questions for the rental company (on site at Pfaff) and was directed to them immediately. Even they responded right away and addressed my questions. (Robert was his name and his friendly and helpful attitude was greatly appreciated – and they have nice cars to use while yours is in the shop). Most of my interactions were with Mindy and you can’t go wrong with her. The process was seamless, thorough and actually pleasant with her leading. You can tell she cares about you as a customer as well as everything she does on the non-customer facing side. I imagine it was a lot to organize with the constraints put on her. Time will tell, but the quality of the work seems outstanding. You can’t tell anything was done – which is exactly how it should be. They washed the car before returning it and it was very nicely done. Something occurred to me during the this process. While I spent most of my time interacting with Mindy (and several different people at the dealership in Mississauga) it hit me that every interaction with someone from Pfaff left me feeling good. I’m assuming this is a culture they cultivate because I find it rare in companies of this size. It also answered a question that came up for me every time I saw a Pfaff BMW owner in my part of town: “why do all these people travel that far when there are closer dealers?”. The answer (after comparing my experiences dealing with the other dealers to Pfaff) is that Pfaff’s service is the best. This is where I’ll go to buy future cars and for service.
I want to begin by expressing my thank you to the Pfaff Autoworks team for their amazing work done on my vehicle. Mindy and her team of exceptional autobody experts and workers do fabulous work. The staff was pleasant to deal with and also provided me with a rental (just so happen to be a BMW) hassel free. I brought my car into Pfaff after I read reviews and I was very pleased. My car had extensive damage done to it in a minor accident and between all the repairs, body work, parts and paint, the car looks brand new.
