I’m disappointed by how my partner was treated. He has paid for seasonal tire changes and storage for the past few years, and he did have his initial oil change done here as well. However, after that first experience, he chose not to return for oil changes due to the upselling and pressure to add services he didn’t need. We now go to Canadian Lube, which has been a much more positive and straightforward experience. Most recently, he booked his winter tire change and assumed the storage service, something he had consistently paid for, would continue as usual. After the tire change was completed, the manager called to say they would no longer store his tires because my partner doesn’t spend enough money annually, noting that he had other customers who spend “thousands of dollars a year” and deserve the storage space instead. This issue was communicated after the service was already done. Had we known beforehand, he could have gone to another shop to have both the tire change and storage handled together. We live in a condo with limited storage, so this put us in a difficult position on very short notice. What makes this experience so disappointing is the lack of professionalism and the unethical practice of cherry-picking customers based on how much they spend. It’s unfortunate to see this reflected not only in our interaction, but also in the owner/manager’s responses to reviews, which often come across as aggressive and dismissive.
We had an excellent experience with Pronto Automotive & Tire Markham! Bryan was incredibly helpful in getting our service truck back on the road quickly and on short notice. The turnaround time was impressive, and the service was both professional and efficient. Highly recommend them for anyone needing reliable automotive support!

I thought I would never say this about a car service appointment, but I’m so ecstatic about the service I received when I took my Tucson to Pronto! Asim let me know exactly what was happening with my vehicle. After checking out my car, Asim assured me he could get the parts within the week and that repairs for the intake manifold, muffler and canister valve would be done within a day. He also didn’t make me worry that there might be additional costs, potentially, due to the age of my vehicle and possible unforeseen complications that might happen with the canister valve, unlike the service centre I went to for quote #1. This tricky area involved the canister assembly and canister valve that sits on top of the gas tank. This could have been difficult to fix but the mechanics did this repair without creating additional issues. This is so important!! Right from the start, I felt extremely confident that Asim would fix my car exactly how he said he would within the time frame and stay within the service estimate. And that’s exactly what happened. Asim and his fantastic staff took great care of my Tucson. It’s running smoothly again, and the infamous Check Engine light is finally OFF. I’m so happy I listened to my friend’s recommendation to take my Tucson to Pronto for a second opinion. Thanks so much, Asim, Carlos and staff. Such a professional and friendly team!

The first time I visited Markham Pronto Automotive, there were 3 police cars parked on their lot. I was thinking – what am I walking into. Only to find out that the cars were being serviced by Pronto. That was over 20 years ago. Imaging being able to hand over the keys to your car to a mechanic and knowing that the mechanic will treat the car as if it was theirs. Asim, Angela and the Pronto team provide amazing, excellent service. I tell everyone I know, take you car to these guys!
