Can't go wrong with Yang's braised beef brisket and rice...we tried the Ox & Beef tongue cold appetizer as well...nice...you definitely need a strong tongue for it!
First time here to this chain restaurant. This particular location is a bit confusing from the outside as it looks to be shared w8th another restaurant maybe? Anyways staff is just there really. Food was good. Noodles come w8th unlimited noodles. I had the braised chicken which was nice and flavourful. Will definitely return because I wanted to try the unlimited noodles and definitely recommend to those who like chicken and rice or noodles to give this place a try!
Yang's Braised Chicken Rice (Woodbine) is best known for its signature dish, Braised Chicken Rice. The braised chicken is tender and flavorful, better add some tufu skin and quail eggs，since there are so many add on you can choose，making it a perfect match for rice. Other dishes on the menu are considered average in terms of taste.
I really enjoyed the hot and tasty chicken brisket with rise! It was very well cooked and as my Chinese friend described, very similar to the authentic taste of the original food! Will definitely visit more!
It was our first time eating here. QR code to view and order from online menu. Seating inside for about 20 people and during our lunch there were a lot of takeout/pickup orders. We ordered a few signature dishes and hand pulled noodles with a few appetizers all arrived within 10 minutes. The signature dishes came out bubbling hot and hand pulled noodles with braised chicken was very rich with flavor. The popcorn chicken, the spicy and criapy pork ribs and sliced cold chili beef were a delight to eat... We very much enjoyed our lunch and the staff was helpful and friendly.
Loved it! The chicken hotpot soup is amazing and easy to customize how you like it. Its simple and tasty and warm and just the best thing on a cold day. I have been twice now and both times it was delicious (I had takeout both time, the place is fairly small but you can eat in as well). The people were incredibly friendly and warm both times I've been in, and they always made sure we got cutlery,chipsticks, napkins too. I will definitely be back again many times I'm sure!
During this pandemic , I wanted to support our local business and decided to order some take out from this restaurant but experienced the worst customer service ☹️ Called in on April 28th around 12:30pm , a female operator answered my call an immediately said “what do you want” with an irritated attitude, I ordered a boneless and withbone chicken on rice , supposed that they should ask for my spicy level but she did not instead she hung up on me , I was so disappointed and wanted to cancel my order, 30s after I called back and the same female operator answered and said “ what do you want again ( in Chinese) “ with an angry voice. I’m very upset that this happened and wish this female operator be more polite, I understand this pandemic might push the pressure to all front line worker so I hope this restaurant manager could treat them better so they don’t face too much pressure☹️ At the end I placed the order at warden location and the operator was much nicer.
