Hands down, the BEST hotel!Rooms are very spacious & clean.Bakery is amazing . Must try !We had breakfast at the restaurant and my daughter ordered off the menu because she was too late for the buffet. She ordered 2 egg whites and the chef prepared 4 egg whites because the portion looked small. We traveled with our 1 yr old puppy for the first time and the hotel was very accommodating. Hotel is very pet friendly and there was plenty of grass to walk the dog. Bakery even got him a small glass of cold water after his walk. Staff is very friendly and so much fun to talk to. The only complaint is that housekeeping staff (not manager) talks among themselves and complains about people at the hotel .... for example - how there are too many dogs at hotel and some people leave a mess. We put booties on our puppy so that he does not track mud and grass in the room. Our puppy is trained not the bite furniture and chew personal items. They werent directing the remarks at us, but my daughter was offended because they were talking right beside her in the hallway. Above all, I would DEFINITELY return to this hotel.
I enjoyed the the brunch here this past Sunday, which includes a selection of juices and coffee. The buffet food selection had quite a few items to try, including a station to cook your eggs to order. My first round I tried the chicken in a cherry sauce, organic greens, fish in a lobster cream sauce and steamed mussels. My second round, I tried the prime rib, one egg over easy and sauced zucchini. My third round, I dived into some steamed crab legs. For dessert, I had a vanilla mousse with mango puree & raspberries and a mini strudel with apples. All the food was good, but I was not wowed. The service was very good, at no point did we have dirty dishes sitting on our table for more than a minute or two. The live entertainment was the perfect backdrop to the setting and not too loud.
Stay here all the time. Posted rates are a bit high and occupancy always full, luckily we get corporate rates and some guaranteed rooms which is a huge value to local businesses. Facilities are great, nice lobby bar but always full, breakfast and dinner is good. The meeting facilities and catering is really exceptional. Gym attached is a full fitness gym withbiutside membership but accessible to hotel guests for free which means a full gym at your disposal. Squash courts in the gym for extra small fee. Rooms are all suite style and very comfortable. Tons of parking (pay) outside and some covered. Right next to 407 for quick access.
The room size was great! Staff were friendly. The pool is operated by a third party club and not the hotel. The members of the pool and its management set up 3/5 of the pool with lanes and hop in one place with a member per lane while the other, minimum 20 hotel customers share 2/5 of the pool - The pool is already extremely small. At check in at about 3 pm our room was not ready, we waited 2 hours. Room size was great, id stay again just for the size because our family needs it. The room had many outstanding and much needed repairs and it needed some cleaning. If you need a large area id recommend it otherwise its lacking guest privileges and cleanliness in the rooms. The adage its what is on the inside that counts is true for this hotel. The hotel is gorgeous outside and the lobby is as well, rooms are paying the price though however.
I love staying at this hotel! The hotel rooms are in very good shape and always clean. Bonus...All the rooms I have stayed in so far have a family room. Staff are awesome and are always looking forward to help without being pretentious...if they dont know the answer, rather than sending you to someone else, they will go find out the answer themselves. Every one is always smiling and have always ensured that my stay is a happy one. Definitely recommend.
