The front desk staff were friendly and informative. However, the hotel is supposed to be non smoking but there was a significant smoke smell in our hallway and even stronger in our room. The windows don't open for fresh air either. The cleanliness seemed pretty good but they missed several hairs in the bathroom and a beer bottle under our bed.
This place is amazing. To be honest I just came for the wifi but found that being just a random person that I was welcomed just like a guest staying here. I watched this place being built when I was little somewhere in 2006 and this place has always been packed. It's near the highway and malls and in a relatively quiet location. Would love to stay here for fun one day.
Very nice. Great check in. Restaurant on premises is pretty good. Breakfast is pleasant; very good coffee. Comfortable bed with great pillows; so that's a big deal. Only not 5 stars because the carpet was old and warn and the housekeeping attention dwindled the longer we stayed.
I stayed in the jacuzzi suite, and thought the jacuzzi was worth the upgrade. The hotel amenities were good: pool, fitness center, and free continental breakfast. The hotel is walkable to many places to grab a bite to eat, especially Asian cuisine. The drive to downtown Toronto is about 15 minutes - not ideal if you're planning on drinking, but just a quick trip if you're looking to explore downtown Toronto.
Checking in was speedy and the staff were friendly. Upon entering the room, it differed from what we expected and what the pictures showed. After booking our reservation, I inquired if each suite had a fireplace and was told yes, however the room did not. The room was slightly dirty, long brown hair covered the bathroom floor and shower. When showering, the shower floor was EXTREMELY slippery. The hotel should really take some precautions before an incident occurs. We did enjoy the jetted tub. I found the bed to be comfortable but my husband did not. Breakfast was decent. It claims to be a "healthy start" but primarily consisted of bread and pastries. There was oatmeal available and you could add in brown sugar, cinnamon, and/or raisins. Mixed fruit was also available. The location was convenient as it was only half hour away from all the attractions we wanted to see.
