I have been a patient of Dr. Sara Imran for a long time (since her Markham location), and she is an absolutely amazing physician. She is highly knowledgeable and compassionate, and she is the only reason I continue to attend this clinic. Her patient care is truly exceptional. However, the clinic staff is consistently unprofessional and rude. Furthermore, I have serious concerns about patient privacy. When I call to book an appointment, staff demand I state the reason for the visit. Yet, I frequently hear other patients’ confidential calls being taken on speakerphone in the clinic waiting area. This creates deep concern that my own private information is being broadcast to others. Even more concerning, the staff once mistakenly left me a voicemail where they were discussing another patient’s private medical information. This is an unacceptable breach of privacy protocols. The administrative policies are also unnecessarily bureaucratic. I had an existing referral sent by Dr. Imran that was not received by the specialist's office. When I called to request the clinic simply resend the existing document, the staff refused. They insisted I would need to either book a new appointment (a wait of over a month) or come in as a walk-in, despite me explaining it was an existing, time-sensitive document. They prioritize unnecessary in-person visits over simple administrative efficiency. While Dr. Imran provides exceptional care, the consistently rude, unhelpful, and privacy-negligent staff makes every interaction extremely difficult. The clinic management needs a serious overhaul of its customer service and privacy protocols.
Called the Markham Office after the Scarborough office referred me there due to the nature of my issue. A spider bite several days ago where most of my lower arm is now a raging burning and itchy mess. Called and they said they prefer I call tomorrow to see my own doctor, but can't get signed in unless I show up in person. So I'll miss a half day of work, continue having the issues caused by this bite, and then get in to see the doctor (if he's not sick) eventually. So maybe an entire days' work? Last time I did a walk-in, at opening, I sat there until an hour after closing waiting while it APPEARED new people were signing up and getting in, while I waited (it's been a couple years). It's crazy how our medical system has so few family doctors that when you finally get one, they have so many patients it's impossible to get in.
Worst ever clinic I have visited in my life rude unprofessional staff secretary is not even allowed to book appointment terrible service if anyone is planning to go this clinic don't make a mistake.
I had to switch family doctors because my previous doctor was not helpful at all and kept ignoring all of the issues I brought to his attention. Dr. Ansari is the exact opposite and gives all of my issues the utmost attention and listens really carefully, then tackles the issues at its root. This is what I expect a doctor to be like, not the Stepford robots we seem to mostly have in Ontario. I’m extremely glad to have a found a great doctor.
The markham staff need to retrain, beause they are rude also unprofessional. But all doctors that I meat whether they are my family dr or i see as walking. But all the doctors are so nice, kind and treating you well.
Extremely rude staff, extremely unprofessional. They never informed us that our son's physician is no longer working with them. They never informed us that our son is no longer registered as a patient with them. I only came to know of this when I requested our son's immunization record from them, which they said that they don't have any more because he is not their registered patient anymore. When I asked why we were never informed, the receptionist slammed the phone on me.
Very very very worse experience Drs are really rude , with no knowledge and staff has no humanity even un the covid days.. I will.not and never recommend any one to go.to.these drs. Waiting time is more than 2 hours. Worse worse worse clinic in GTA
