One of the Best Walk-In Clinic Experiences! I had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a walk-in clinic. Dr. Steven Matlis didn’t need much explanation — he clearly knows what he’s doing and handled everything quickly and efficiently. The receptionist Alina was very kind and professional, and the pharmacy associates Artin and Alex were super helpful and friendly. Everything was smooth, fast, and well-organized — truly an outstanding team! Highly recommend Matlis Medical to anyone looking for quality care and great service.

I've been to this clinic over 5 times now and every visit has been a really good experience. The staff here are consistently kind and helpful, and I love that they give you a reminder call before your appointment — super thoughtful. They also have a dermatologist who comes in every Sunday. She's awesome! Super friendly and really cares about her patients. I always feel well taken care of here. Definitely one of the better walk-in clinics I've been to.
I’ve been coming to Matlis Medical since it opened and have always appreciated the care from doctors like Dr. Matlis and Dr. Franklin, who never hesitated to address more than one concern during a visit, despite its long wait times which are expected when visiting a walk-in clinic. That changed with my recent appointment with Dr. Arash Vaez-Zadeh. I came in with two simple issues, neither of which would have taken long to address. Dr. Zadeh insisted he would only deal with one issue at a time, stating, “this is only just a walk-in clinic.” After waiting over an hour, taking time off work, and rarely able to make time for Doctor visits, I found that response dismissive and unreasonable. When I explained that the second issue would take less than 2 minutes, the conversation turned argumentative instead of understanding. He eventually gave a quick diagnosis for the second issue, but the interaction felt rushed and impersonal—as if I was just being moved along to make room for the next patient. Patients deserve to feel heard and respected, regardless of how busy the clinic is. Sadly, after years of coming here, this experience has made it clear I won’t be returning.
Dr. Koldorf is really wonderful! He’s the reason I keep going back to this clinic. He’s patient and takes the time to listen and advise on next steps, and has demonstrated a genuine concern for his patients. The receptionist is also a pleasure to deal with and is always very helpful. Thank you!
Dr. Koldorf has been so professional and caring! The BEST doctor experience I ever had! I came with an infection in my finger and a rash in my hand. He carefully examined me and gave me all the necessary time to explain all the options. He then carefully took the pus out, I didn't feel anything! He also asked if I had insurance and recommended only strictly necessary medicine after knowing that I didn't have health insurance. I called the clinic after my visit to ask if he accepts new patients as a family doctor, unfortunately he doesn't. People under his care are extremely lucky, they are for sure in good hands.
