Millie and the staff at Poochies Paradise are professional and experienced. My dogs have always received great service. Recently my dog was sprayed by a skunk and I was able to get an early morning appointment the very next business day. Super grateful!
Worst groomer ever! Left my dog Scooby (Shitzu Bicheon) for trimming because of the cold weather, but they completely shaved him, also the grooming wasnt professionally done, looked like someone learnt grooming on him. Very disappointed never going again... period!
Poochies has always done such a great job grooming my bichon Bailey! We’ve been going since 2020 and are only stopping now because we are moving to Ottawa. They are easy to book with, reasonable pricing, friendly staff and Bailey always comes home looking great.
I brought my toy poodle here before and was pleasantly surprised at how happy and anxious free she was when I went to pick her up. Her haircut wasn't the best, but it was understandable since we're still trying to figure out a good cut for her. Being satisfied with the results of the first dog, I decided to bring my cockapoo in for her first cut. Millie seemed busy so we weren't able to talk too much when I brought my puppy in, which was alright. I was extremely disappointed at how poorly her nails were cut. I'm not sure how to describe it, but imagine snapping a chopstick in half, and that's how the nails looked. She missed some pieces of hair (around the toe area and legs), and she didn't cut her pee hair (although I'm unsure if I have to specify I want that done). In general the face shape didn't look good and everyone thats seen her said her cut looked bad. I was very reluctant on bringing my cockapoo to a groomers, but maybe I had too high of an expectation. I paid $90+ for this groom (which is expensive), and will not be coming back. The reason why I'm giving 3/5 and not 2 is because the rest of her body was relatively even and I thought Millie did a great job with her tail. I feel like she has more experience cutting poodle hair, and not too much of styling cockapoos.
I’ve been going here for so long! For all my dogs! Millie is the best. I recently moved out of Cornell and relocated to Toronto but I still come back so my dog can get the best treatment. I’m a student so my schedule is difficult to work with but Millie never says no to me when I call her last minute to book something. Also, my dog is a little bit shy of other dogs and sometimes scared of being groomed (not aggressive) but Millie does a great job at accommodating him and making him feel comfortable. thanks Millie!! Staff are very friendly. And Chewie always look great after her groom. They never trim her hair too short like most places do. And not overpriced for the quality of service they provide.
