Gave Bimmex Markham 3 stars because while it's a solid shop with knowledgeable staff, I was disappointed with how a recent issue was handled. They quoted me $500 for parts and $800 for labour for something that turned out to be non-essential. A reputable BMW shop ended up removing the faulty part with no impact on the car’s performance, but Bimmex never mentioned that as an option. On top of that, the parts they quoted were heavily overpriced as I found the exact same OEM parts online for less than half the price. Good shop overall but be sure to do your own research before moving ahead with any repairs.
Mike saved me more than $10,000 for an incorrect diagnosis by the dealer, that in the end, the replaced parts the dealer proposed would not have fixed the problem. All work Bimmex has done on my 750 has been excellent. The vehicle performs as good or perhaps even better as the day I got it, and is still such a pleasure to drive. Thanks Bimmex!
I’ve been coming to Bimmex for about a year now and am very satisfied. The prices tend to be a bit higher than some Indy shops but you also get a much better, smooth experience with friendly staff. Highly recommend to get your car’s work done here Edit November 26 2025: one of my wheel weights fell off my wheel after having them mounted. While these things do happen time to time, the last few times at Bimmex have not been pleasant for me. Edit November 21 2025: I had to remove a star, because I found that recently their service has gotten worse for the last few years. I had an appointment today for a tire change, off rims for 1:45pm. I received my car at 5pm, before close. I could see my car was worked on at 3:30pm. I did not appreciate having my car in the shop for 3 hours for a tire change, it wasn’t communicated to me until I arrived in the shop, although they called me the day before to confirm my appointment. Edit December 3 2024: I brought my car here for tire change, but somehow they messed up one of the tires and there was air leaking right when I left. I had to go back and get it fixed. That was a waste of 30 minutes especially since they finished my car right at closing. Edit November 2023: I’m retroactively applying this edit, as I got some service done around this time. James the service advisor quoted me a price over phone. When I went in to pay after the job was done, it wasn’t the same. I’d say it was miscommunication, as I genuinely heard another number. But the transparency behind that and printing a work order before hand would have been nice to avoid the situation
Have been using BIMMEX since expiry of my BMW warranty. Knowledgeable and friendly staff Ro and Brendan, backed by their team of expert technicians. Based on my visits I found their service reliable and advice honest. I recall at least twice I left without being charged. The last visit was to check fluid leakage. Their finding suggested no major work and no charge. I intend to keep my BMW for a long time and I know BIMMEX will help me achieve my goal.
Everything went smoothly. Ro is always informative and keeps me abreast of the repairs as it occurs throughout the day. The seats were clean this time so thank you for using a plastic to cover the chair. Thanks so much and have a great day
Had my radiator replaced after receiving an exaggerated quote from a certain franchise (that I will not name). Bimmex was able to quote me and take my car in for an appointment the same day, while doing a full diagnostics. Professional, friendly and forthcoming (but not pushy in any way) is how I would describe the service; not to mention the quality of the work done. Highly recommended!
