Rolan & Dylan are amazing. Took my car in to have the brakes & rotors replaced. It was done within an hour and a half of me calling them, that too on a friday near cloing time. I literally dropped off the car just before close and they had it done sooner than promised. That's exceptional service. Thanks guys!
I brought my Nissan to Rolan’s I needed a mechanic in my desperate time of need I worked on my clutch but I couldn’t finish it on my driveway the car was in pieces I asked all the mechanics I know none of them wanted to tackle the job I was travelling from Markham to Whitby for school daily by bus Rolan and Dylan came to my rescue The don’t me but I”m glad I met them my car is restored and it was done quickly and the price was fair no complaints these took me as a new client and treated me like they knew for years this is my go to shop from now on thanks a million

I wrote a review 5 years ago (please reference it below, it's a one star review) and this guy has the AUDACITY to reply 5 years later with "you may have the wrong shop". That is simply embarrassing. There is zero accountability with this business. I won't speak to how the business functions today but we were never provided any sort of receipt (paid in cash) for the shoddy work then. Just a tip from a customer services perspective, if you lead with empathy and understanding, it'll go a long way.
Was looking for a trustworthy mechanic and this shop was recommended. They took care of my car and showed me exactly what was wrong with it and was upfront about pricing. Very knowledgeable and would definitely recommend. The young apprentice Dylan knows his stuff. Rolans for the win!!
I started going here for my oil change in May, 2022, based on my cousin’s recommendation. I had my rear rotors, pads and calipers replaced here in June, 2022. All transactions were quoted as cash sales, although he always said plus taxes. However, I have NEVER been issued an invoice for any work done at this garage. Fast forward to January 2023: my car stalled and the engine would not turn over. I called Rolan and he sent his “apprentice”, who is his son to see what was wrong with my car. He connected the cables wrong and sparks flew. The car was dead! Rolan arranged for my car to be towed to his garage (1 km away). He called a few hours later and told me the starter was gone and it will cost $180 for the starter, $250 for labour and $120 for the tow ($550). The next day he called again and said the engine is gone. I asked how much that would cost and he said $3,000-$4,000 + labour. I was flabbergasted as this is not what I expected, nor was I prepared to spend this kind of money on a 9-year-old vehicle. I contacted the dealership where I purchased the vehicle from and discussed my options. They suggested that they do a diagnostic on the vehicle as it could be a fuse or alternator (and not the engine). When I called Rolan and told him what I had decided, he yelled at me “What, you don’t trust me? Why are you taking it there?” He was belligerent, insulting and said “They are going to make you buy a new vehicle. I have customers who went there, and they did that to them.” In the same breath he says, “When they fix it, bring it back, I’ll buy it from you!” I arranged for my car to be towed and told Rolan I would be picking up my car. He said he would leave the key in his mailbox. Instead, he decided to wait for me and refused to give me my car keys until I paid $600 (for their mistake)! In fact, he phoned his son to ensure my funds were transferred to his account. Anyone who e-transfers money knows this takes minutes, not seconds. He told his son “she doesn’t have the money”. My dad asked for my car keys and was reaching for it when he said “Don’t touch me! No customer has ever touched me. I don’t want you as a customer.” I said “Now you have two less customers.” He made me speak to his son on the phone to ensure I had his correct email (which I did). His son said he knows it takes a bit of time and it was ok; he will let me know when he received the funds. Rolan gave me my keys and we left. While the tow truck driver was getting my car ready to be towed, my Dad opened the car engine and noticed that the engine cover was not there and that the serpentine belt was not on the vehicle. He asked Rolan for it and he brought it and threw it on the engine. My dad had to snap it back on! In my experience the owner of this garage is dishonest and incompetent. In fact, an employee from one of the other shops in the area told the tow truck driver that the apprentice put the jumper cables on my battery wrong! In November 2023, my car stalled again. I towed it to a different garage and they told me the starter was the wrong size for my car. They also said it was not new and should have lasted longer than 11 months! So in 11 months I paid $1100 for two starters! I am now questioning the integrity of this business and whether or not he has a business license, or if he is even a certified mechanic! This is a warning, do NOT take your vehicle to this garage.
I highly recommend this shop for any vehicle repair you need. Amazing customer service and honest work. Been coming here for years and they always take care of my car, from brakes to engine swaps. They keep my RX7s running right
