Avoid this place at all costs. I was a loyal customer for years, but they consistently overcharge, use poor-quality parts, and lack proper mechanical skills. My last visit was a disaster — they gave me a $700 quote, didn’t finish the job on time, installed a refurbished part instead of new, and then charged more than the original price. I’ve always coming here for oil changes and repairs. But honestly, they’ve always charged high prices and used low-quality parts. Over time, I realized the mechanic doesn’t have enough skill — every time he works on my car, new problems show up. The last experience was last week. I got a quote from Behrooz Nemati to replace an alternator — the same alternator he himself had replaced only four years ago. This time, he came up with another excuse, saying the alternator failed because of an engine oil leak, and claimed the head gasket needed replacing too and obviously made me another cost. He quoted $700 total and said it would take 4 hours for complete jobs. He also offered a "discount" if I paid in cash instead of by credit card(I thought that is a saving for him to not paying administrating fee and receiving money immediately). Later I realized that was basically a tax fraud and cheating on CRA. In reality, because he keeps multiple jobs “waiting” until he feels like doing them, my repair took much longer — one day turned into two. I dropped off my car before 2 PM for alternator replacement and head gasket work. But the alternator wasn’t even new — it was a refurbished one, probably pulled from another car with just the winding/coil replaced. When I went to pick up my car later that day after 5 hours, I saw only the alternator job was done. He told me to come back another day for the head gasket. Every day, my car just sat there. On the second day, when I went to pick it up, he was charging me more than the original quote — $500 for the not-new alternator alone! When I complained, he argued that his $700 quote was for doing both jobs in one day, even though he was the one who failed to finish it on time. On top of that, he replaced the air filter demanded an extra $35. When at end I paid another $200 in cash in addition of $500 in cash of the first day, I only had $15 cash left for air filter and was short by $20, he shockingly walked to my car and removed the air filter! This, for a long-term customer who has spent thousands of dollars here over the years. No small courtesy, no compensation for two days work, no credit for next time — nothing. I’m extremely frustrated with this kind of unprofessional behavior and the blatant tax evasion. I absolutely do not recommend this shop. Besides the rude attitude and shady work, taking cash under the table to avoid paying tax is a shameful practice for any citizen.
I take my car to this place fro several years. The staff are friendly, well trained and know A-Z of the mechanics. They always provide a great service with a really good price which is much lower than dealership service fees. I am happy to put a good words for the owner! great job Bruce!
What a crazy coincidence that all these new 1-review accounts with the same poor English are leaving bad reviews. Had some work here on my car. Guy was honest about what we needed, what they actually could or couldn't do, and did great work.

Great work. I went here because my lock nut key was damage. After looking around about 11 other places including Canadian tire and dealer and Costco with no luck. He said he can try to help me. The price over the phone was great at least compared to dealer or any other places by the hr. He manage to remove it and replace it. I paid him the amount we agree. Without thinking twice he return me some of the money and told me he didn't took the time he expected. I been driving for 15yrs and I never been charge less than the price over the phone. Anywhere else would just make me sit and wait even they finish just to charge the amount they know you will pay. I will recommend here. There is a review that claim is asian own and some problems at this place. But is not accurate. The asian mechanic is 2 unit beside and not this one. I been here so many time and for over a year now for my 2 cars and never have a problem and is not asian own whatsoever.
Bruce is one of the best mechanics I know. I recently moved to neighborhood and also got a car which is a wreck, Bruce helped me fix it and he did great job on the car. He is honest and his rates are reasonable. The whole reason I choose to write this review is because, people should know someone like Bruce are around to take his time and go extra mile to help you and make your day better.
