The food, service and everything else was overall bad. They don’t even try to make it look good and it tastes just as horrible. I am a huge fan of the black pepper chicken + vegetable combo so i picked that as one of my two options and it tasted disgusting, i’m not even exaggerating. The beef tasted like it was boiled, stored somewhere, then boiled again, you can tell by the taste and how it doesn’t even have a HINT of black pepper. The vegetables were just as awful, they tasted old and unappetizing. Honestly whenever i eat something bad, i usually get through it and finish it, but this time i was actually urging to puke, that’s how bad this meal was. The other entry i chose was called “General Tso Chicken” and it was just as bad. It tasted extremely stale and the texture was so gross i was gagging in the middle of eating it. The fried rice tasted really old and you can tell it was old by the way the vegetables looked. The skin for the peas weren’t even intact, it was like they had white patches on its green skin. She had the audacity to give me a plastic tray for a tiny container. The woman kept rushing everything and it was obnoxious to experience. I get that it’s considered fast food but it wasn’t pleasant. I’ve never eaten a meal nor experienced service this bad, especially from Manchu Wok. I genuinely don’t recommend eating from here, even if it sounds too good to be true.
Their fried rice is so fragrant and their honey garlic chicken is the best I’ve had at any ManchuWok. To add, the staff behind the counter were exceptionally nice and welcoming. Would love to come here again!
I am writing this review from the mall because I need to warn everyone immediately. The food at Manchu Wok is nothing short of disgusting. I have never been so disappointed in a meal. Everything we got was stale, dry, and tasted like it was cooked last week and left under a heat lamp. The chicken was tough and rubbery, the vegetables were sad and limp, and the sauces were flavorless gloop. It was all completely inedible. "Dry and flavourless" is an understatement; it was like eating seasoned cardboard. Listen to me very carefully: **Do NOT eat here.** No matter how hungry you are, even if you're starving, you would be better off waiting. You would literally be better off calling your dad to complain about being hungry than subjecting yourself to this absolute disgrace of a meal. This is not just bad, it's a health code violation waiting to happen. Save your money and your stomach. Avoid Manchu Wok at all costs. An utterly nasty experience.
Food isn’t great (meats are basically 50% deep fried flour coating, fried rice is flavourless and has 1 pea/lb of rice) and service is terrible. Spent 40$ on two entrees, a drink, and an extra side, I then added $5 more for a tip. Then as I was paying I asked for 2 tiny paper cups. Nope, “10c each”. Didn’t even bother to give me chopsticks with my takeout. Only forks… didn’t even ask. The stingiest and rudest location I have ever been to. They seem to treat customers who spend money with them badly. No thanks, plenty more options in the entire food court. Never again.
Unfortunately, this is the first time I’m reading a Manchu Wok this low. The food was simply terrible. The fried rice was soggy, their broccoli was mushy and the meat was hard and overcooked. I guess everything was overcooked. The staff is friendly enough but the food was just terrible. Maybe that’s why they had to put a clearance price to get things going. Definitely won’t be coming back to this store.
I had a two choice combo. One of my choices was cold. This place is not good safe. Don't eat here if you care about not getting food poisoning. The stuff that was warm enough was fine. A bit too oily and light on meat.
