My home AC failed yesterday (Sunday) and my family suffered a night of nature sauna. I called High Life this morning (Monday) and they sent a technician right away (within 30 mins from my call). The failed capacitor is replaced and AC is back on. Thank you very much for the prompt service! Note that I have been High Life's customer more than 25 years. That also tells a lot.
They installed a new carrier AC, furnace, water tank, humidifier, and smart thermostat. Spent a lot to replace the whole system. Within weeks I had issues with the thermostat and the system randomly shuts down. I tried calling high life and they won’t get back to you. They just take your money and go. A year later, there’s an Freon issue and leak with the AC. Again, you try to get a hold of them. No answer and no replies to the many messages. In the end I had to call a different company to come in. I spent money out of pocket to resolve this issue which should be under warranty. Avoid this company if you don’t want the hassle. In response to your response, yes it was through high life. The installation was booked directly through the owner Mark. Please see the attached pics to prove it. We have been using Carrier equipments from High Life for more than 35 years. They always show good sales and service in the past. I replaced my Carrier furnace and air conditioning again today, the hottest day ever, while my AC decided to quit working. Darren shows his knowledge on explaining very details on the system His service team Kia and Ernest also shows good experience and professionalism on installation. I appreciate their work ,and recommend to many of my neighbors and friends as well.
The level or service and expertise is bar none the best I have experienced so far. And I've had my fair share of experience with trades people! Mark and his team were on point from start to finish. Sina his Installer was meticulous and highly experienced. They laid down floor protection and were extremely careful with my homes finishes. The pictures speak for themselves. You'd think with this level of care and service the price would be astronomical.... That was not the case! Pricing was more than fair and well below anyone out there! Thank you High Life!
I have bought the Carrier airconditioner unit on May 2022. Then on the follow July the water leaking from the tube for the airconditioner on my basement. So l call the technician to fix that. And afterward on Sept. 2024 .The airconditioner is not working. So we call the technician again . And the first time they charge me 118 dollars for just the inspection fees. After a short inspection the technician say the freon is all leaking out in the airconditioner unit . And he told me that he will fix it for two or three times visit for repair . And each time he will charge me the labor cost. So l am not happy about what he say. And l am dissatisfied their service. How come the only three years old Carrier airconditioner unit have these problems. May be these airconditioner unit are defective.
Got a new Carrier furnace and heat pump installed. By far this was the best HVAC experience I've ever had. Quotation was simple and competitive. Mark explained the many options in regards to the Gov Rebate. Sina and Yao did the installation. They were courteous and really looked after the small details. The work was explained prior and after install. I really appreciated the extra time they took to help me understand everything as HVAC is not common knowledge. Thanks again High Life!
