Costco using this vendor?? I requested Costco to call me on water heater installation. Mersey called me much later than the time slot I booked with Costco. And telling me $4,400 on 50 gallon inefficient tank water heater. Nowadays I have seen tankless water heater costs less than $3,500 all in. They rip you off big time. Avoid Mersey.
I couldn't be happier with the service. The ladies on the phone were wonderful and I didn't have to wait to speak to them. I was in an emergency situation where I had no heat during -15 degrees Celsius. The gentleman came within half an hour, was very knowledgeable, repair the issue, and kept me safe with covid protections. The technician Dave was great who did home consulation for our water heater tank and furnace. He presented us great solution. Jordan was great too for providing us great product options for our home. Overall I give them both 5 stars.
I have been using Mersey heating for a number if years. They have always been very good. The technician (Zhao i think) who came this time appeared a bit lacks politeness. He said 'it is upto you to repair or replace the unit. It is none of my business'. Not the best advise a customer is expecting. He claims the heat exchanger is all rusted out. I do not see any rust. Also the unit was inspected by Mersey tehnician last fall. The rust developed since? He left a warning note that i must get the heat exchanger replaced in 30 days. I am not sure how to go about.
